Peter Matthiessen at MIT / Thoreau Prize Presentation, PEN New England

PEN New England will award writer and Paris Review co-founder Peter Matthiessen its 2013 Henry David Thoreau Prize for Literary Excellence in Nature Writing.

Peter Matthiessen is a three-time National Book Award-winning American novelist, nonfiction writer, and prominent environmental activist.
