Eileen Myles was born in Boston in 1949 and moved to New York in 1974. She is the author of nineteen books, including I Must Be Living Twice: New and Selected Poems 1975-2014, Chelsea Girls, Snowflake/different streets, and Inferno: A Poet’s Novel. Myles is a Guggenheim fellow and received a grant from the Foundation for Contemporary Art in 2014.
