This portfolio consists of an exercise in which the photographer sent his portraits to poet-friends of the subjects and asked them to pick one portrait and provide an appropriate salutation.

The monosyllables go off to grieve alone. Into
the necessary mansions. Into the beast capable of
laughter, and velvet. Shot through with silent
moments stands a man in touch with his own story.
